Despite a drizzly Saturday morning on November 9th, the spirits of 35 dedicated volunteers remained high as they gathered at Jerudong Beach for a cleanup initiative coordinated by The Beach Bunch. Representing Teck Guan Holdings and Universiti Islam Sultan Sharif Ali (UNISSA) NABEL, the volunteers demonstrated commendable commitment to environmental action, proving that dedication shines through, rain or shine.

In a remarkable display of efficiency and teamwork, the group collected a substantial 420kg of waste from the beach in just one hour. This significant haul underscores the impact that focused community efforts can have in the ongoing fight against plastic pollution and litter accumulation on Brunei's beautiful coastlines.
