A significant cleanup effort took place at Jerudong Beach on the morning of September 29th, 2024, thanks to the combined forces of the Standard Chartered Recreational Club, volunteers from Majlis Perundingan Kampong (MPK) Jerudong, and coordination from The Beach Bunch.

Demonstrating remarkable efficiency and commitment, the volunteers worked together to remove an impressive 521 kilograms of rubbish from the coastline in just one and a half hours. This staggering amount underscores the positive impact dedicated groups can make in a short period.

While celebrating the fantastic turnout and collaborative spirit shown by organizations and individuals involved in coastal care initiatives, The Beach Bunch also took the opportunity to gently remind the public of the importance of personal responsibility. All visitors are urged to be mindful when enjoying Brunei's beautiful beaches and to ensure all waste is disposed of properly.
